Capitol Internship & Scholarship event photos

We had a fantastic Capitol Internship, Scholarship Fundraising, and Intallation Gala last night at the Sacramento Sheraton Grand Hotel! Event photos are here. Congratulations to all of  you for a successful event! I received compliments from many of our guests this evening. I want to thank all of you for working together and making this evening a memorable one for our 2012 scholarship recipients and interns, corporate sponsors, elected officials and community.

Many thanks to the following:

• Amy who coordinated the program timeline and making sure that the evening flowed seamlessly. And through her tireless efforts, challenged the Outreach team to meet the goal of 40 tables.
• Outreach Team for taking on Amy’s challenge of 40 tables and exceeding it. Great job!
• For Henry and fundraising team for getting the raffle prizes and encouraging the next generation of young people to get involved in community service. We raised over $1,300. Awesome job!
• For our photographers John, Danny and Bill who use their talents to capture the moment.
• For Duper who helped the vendor with the stage design.
• Sokie and the many volunteers who helped in the office in preparation for this event into the late hour.
• And most of all, the many new volunteers who came out this evening to help out including our spouses and children. It’s definitely a family affair.

I am blessed to have such a wonderful team who is passionate in serving the community. And most importantly, to CC and Regina for their guidance and support.
